AI Photo Log
The AI Photo Log lets you take a picture of a moment — a meal, a craft, a doctor’s visit — and have Scolah automatically read the image and pre-fill an activity form. You review, adjust, and save.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- Tap the + button on the Home tab.
- Select Photo Log.
- The camera opens — take a photo of the activity or moment.
- Scolah analyses the image (this takes a few seconds).
- A pre-filled activity form appears with the details extracted from the photo.
- Review the suggested title, description, and activity type.
- Make any corrections, then tap Confirm to save the activity.

Tips for best results
Section titled “Tips for best results”- Good lighting — well-lit photos give the AI more detail to work with.
- Clear subject — frame the main subject of the activity (the food, the drawing, the scene) clearly.
- Steady shot — blurry images reduce accuracy; tap to focus before capturing.
Try the AI demo
Section titled “Try the AI demo”Not sure how it works? Tap Try AI Demo in the quick action menu. Scolah will run the photo analysis on a sample image so you can see how the form is pre-filled before using your own photos.
Privacy note
Section titled “Privacy note”Photos taken with Photo Log are processed to extract activity details. They are not stored on Scolah’s servers unless you explicitly attach them to the activity before saving.
