Notifications

Scolah sends notifications to keep you informed about reminders, activity updates from co-parents, and important events in your child’s record.

In-app notification inbox

Tap the bell icon in the top-right corner of the Home screen to open your notification inbox.

The inbox shows:

• Reminder alerts — when a reminder is due
• New activities — when a co-parent or family member logs an activity
• Milestone notifications — achievements and alerts from school
• System notifications — account and security notices

Tap any notification to go directly to the relevant screen (e.g. the reminder detail or activity).

Push notifications

Push notifications appear on your device’s lock screen and notification centre so you see alerts even when the app is closed.

Enable or disable push notifications

iOS:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
2. Scroll down and tap Scolah.
3. Tap Notifications and toggle them on or off.

Android:

1. Open Settings → Apps → Scolah.
2. Tap Notifications and adjust the settings.

Note

Reminder notifications require push notifications to be enabled. If you disable them, you’ll still see reminders in the in-app inbox but won’t receive alerts on your lock screen.

Notification types
