Import from Scolah Compass

When Resources is connected to Scolah Compass, Scolah Compass sends its list of in-kind items (food baskets, school kits and so on). Nothing is created automatically: a stock manager chooses what to import.

1. Go to Stock → Items and click Import from Compass.
2. For each Scolah Compass item, choose an Action:
   • Create a new item (choose lot and expiry tracking and a category),
   • Link to an existing item (Resources suggests one with the same name and unit), or
   • Skip.
3. Check the result first: Resources tells you how many items would be created, linked and skipped.
4. Import.

Items already linked are skipped, so importing twice creates no duplicates. If the list is empty, Scolah Compass hasn’t sent it yet; it arrives with Scolah Compass’s next sync.
